How do I sort my bank transactions?

Solution

When you download your bank transactions you may find your transactions being sorted from newest to oldest.

In the Excel accouting template transactions are entered from oldest to newest.

Follow these steps to sort your bank transactions from oldest to newest:

First, import your bank transactions using one of the import modules
Go to one of the Bank tabs
Now select only the white cells from B10 to Lxxxx (xxxx = last row number containing data)
Then rightclick and choose Custom Sort (last option)
Now choose column E and click OK (make sure to untick 'My data has headers' on the top)
